Just going to get breakfast and all of a sudden the surging began. I couldn't get it to accelerate so I made it into the lot and had it towed. Saab Roadside people very curteous, even got me a flatbed without my having to ask, I thought that was pretty nice.
The closest dealer told me, however, it would be 3 days before they could even look at me car, oh, and by the way, we don't have any loaners. The other dealer was a bit further, about a forty minute drive, but I not only got the car fixed, but they also did the full thirty thousand mile service and the car was ready to go at 430 pm. Thank you Smithtown Saab, Long Island, New York.
I picked it up after service hours so I did not get a chance to talk to the service writer, if anyone knows what these things on my service order means-
In one section it looks like they completed a 724 campaign; completed ecm compaign; and replaced a 53-80-688 Trionb308em9 4000.
Another section reads- Service campaign #443; 838Camp; Completed cd changer wiring campaign.
Next section- they found error codes P1530/P1601, internal control module fault, performed ecm recall, check pedal position sensor in read values, voltages do not add up. Replace throttle housing to correct, reprogram immobilizer.e
Just curious.
