Ignition switch Posted by AdamSAAB2kAero [Email] (#1826) [Profile/Gallery] (more from AdamSAAB2kAero) on Tue, 25 Sep 2012 17:59:49 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
It's time to replace the ignition switch on our 2004 9-5 Aero Combi (manual). This is the no start issue that many posted about. I traced it down to the ignition switch.
I'm looking over the WIS and and important note is there (under Ignition switch with connector) stating: The deflection limiter must not be in contact with the lock plate during adjustment. This is the second part after I put all parts back together (to fit). Has anyone run into trouble with this or overall on the whole project? It seems straightforward... Should I disconnect the battery beforehand? Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers!
