I just changed the "other" brake light switch (the one on the left) with the one below from eEuroparts. Now the function is backwards (ie, lights turn OFF when pressing pedal). Could it be the wrong switch or maybe did I hook up connector backwards?
ETA: I'm really thinking this is the wrong part. It only fits a certain way into the connector and when it does, the brake lights are on without the brake pedal being pressed and then when I depress the brake pedal, the lights go off. Same with the safety switch: when I press the brake pedal, it locks the transmission solenoid.
