My guess is that your car is a 2006 or newer based on your question. If so, the Owner's Manual instructions are to take the car to your Dealer. The Owner's Manual does not even list a lamp number for the front turn signals as Saab felt the average owner to be incapable of doing this job.
The Service Manual, or WIS, instructions for this job are to remove the entire front bumper skin. This is accomplished by removing two to four screws in each of the front wheel wells, then removing four to six screws beneath the hood securing the upper edge of the bumper skin, then peeling the skin forward and unlatching it. Once it is out of the way you are to remove the headlamp buckets and replace the turn signal lamp from the back side.
You "may" be able to do this from within the engine compartment after removing the battery cover, the battery, relocating a small fuse box, removing a heat shield, and removing the battery tray.
