Thanks for asking, it's still sore and since I couldn't work full speed Friday, Saturday the punishment is to do the rest today instead so that my next week is not completely insane.
I was playing around with the NG900 and short belts for awhile since some were complaining about the generic US belt (060970) they used seemed to slip sometimes.
I could find a Conti 6PK-2445, 2460 and 2470 and the longest of them is more in line with the 060970 which is a tad too long and it is almost nothing left of the spring when belt is new.
The 2445 did still go on but you had to collapse the tensioner all the way and it seemed that the belt broke earlier from overtension so I settled for the 2460 on those cars.
But as mentioned, just the brand itself and what allowed max and min tolerances they allow them self to have, can play a role when you are at the outer limits.
