I have had a ongoing issue with engaging reverse in my 2001 95 aero, it is a manual transmission. I have to be coasting backwards or just lucky to engage it. I have replaced all engine mounts, I purchased and installed both the GS front tranny mount and GS short shift kit. I have re aligned the shift linkage myself and had the local saab shop do it as well.I have heard there is a leaf spring of some sort in the gear box that wears and may cause these symptoms. any advice would be greatly appreciated.
