Did subframe bushings today

Followed Swedecar's method to replace rear and midframe bushings; rather difficult without a lift since there was little space to work under the car. Mid bushings were fine but replaced them anyway. Rear were completely shot (one was split). mid bushings went without a fight (knocked them out with a drift and hammer), rear were tough : I had to saw through them then use the method described by Swede ie pry the metal lip until it collapses... not too tough I reckon if you have a lift but a bear given the limited clearance
I used urethane bushings from proparts (bought for $60 at RMEuropean and they went in with no problem at all.
Independent shop wanted $450 so that was a nice saving (Thanks Swedecar !).
Finished too late to check the result but should definitely be an improvement because I could feel the subframe knocking when accelerating hard.
Anyway, I have to tackle my next problem now: vibration at low RPM, suspecting the harmonic balancer
