I picked up my Aero SC from the body shop yesterday, and the battery was dead. They hooked up portable jump-starter, all was good. They had replaced a damaged mirror cover (hit and run while parked on the street), and that maybe the door being opened while working on it, and subsequent interior lights coming on several times had drained the battery. Maybe the technician also playing the radio? The battery is only a year old, and the outside temps were near freezing.
I drove a few extra miles out of my way before shutting off, car started fine.
I know 9-5's love to eat batteries, but the dome lights will turn themselves off. Granted, if open/closed, open/closed...
Sorry for the long lead up, but what I was wondering is if the 9-5 powers open a steering wheel lock like the 9-3SS's? I didn't think so. The key was in the car when I picked it up, it could have been in for several hours that afternoon. The 9-3SS's key unlock is quite obvious, I don't detect anything on the 9-5.

p.s.
for those not familiar with the 9-3SS, leaving the key in the ignition is guaranteed to run down the battery (eventually).
