Water, driver's footwell on hard right turn

During a long drive over the weekend with AC on during humid weather, I noticed that when I made a hard right turn, some water came out of the top right of the driver's side footwell. It wasn't much, but enough to see and feel in open toe footwear. I'm guessing this is condensation from the evaporator. I recently changed the cabin filter and cleaned the drain hoses. The car drips water through the hoses. Is this excess condensation as designed or do I need to fix something?
