Which 4 cyl is it the low pressure unit-or the Aero? I've got a manual Aero wagon and I find it has plenty of power- in fact I was impressed when I first drove it, I expected a 4 cyl with that much power to be kind of wrangy- like a motorcycle engine, but I was impressed by the way the engine performed. When I was looking I took out a 2001 wagon with the V6 and auto and there is no comparison to an '02 Aero with stick. Another point- the Allroad was the car that got me interested in a station wagon in the first place, but after comparing this with the Saab (along with an A6 Avant, Volvo V70 and Subaru Outback) I chose the Saab. The Saab is safer, has just as much horsepower (and more torque), Is nicer looking and has a nicer interior in my opinion, and there's not so many of them on the road (my other car is a Jetta- try figuring out which one is yours in a mall parking lot!) A fully loaded Aero wagon also comes in about $4000 (Canadian, not including incentives on the Saab) cheaper than a comparable Allroad. The Audi has the neat adjustable suspension and quatro- I don't know about you but if I consider how much I would actually use those features its definitely not worth the extra cash (I suppose that explains why I'm not driving one)My vote is for the Aero, unless of course you can afford an S6 Avant!
