Ate brake pads - screeching after washing Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Sun, 29 Sep 2013 07:32:08 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
The rear brakes on my '08 Aero screech horribly after each car wash. Yesterday I even drove the car around the block after washing it our driveway to try to dry the suckers out. No good, this morning they screeched again when backing up.
The pads must have been fairly new when I bought the car as they still have a lot of pad life remaining. Anyone else have this problem? I assume Ate was not the OEM pad when the car was built, and my Aero does not have the ventilated rear rotors.
