2005 Aero Wagon.
Recently noticed that when using the driver seat heater it feels like it is burning through my pants and stinging my left thigh. Its like the heater element is heating a spot at the left-side stitch seam in the seat cushion. The rest of it feels fine. Just that one spot getting very hot!
Its unbearable at any setting, low, medium, or high.
Is the heating element possibly shorting out on a frame-wire in the seat cushion? I have Never encountered this issue before on any other 9-5 that I've had the pleasure to use the seat heaters in.
Thought I would fish for some ideas before I go at taking the seat apart.
Should I preemptively order a replacement heating element?
