I'm looking to splice the mirror power cable into a USB accessory cable for a GPS. The cables running from the ceiling instead up and around the shifter/radio/dash from the cigarette/12V plug WOULD tidy up the car. I've read some prior posts about the constant power and power off at ignition stop cables running near/to mirror.
This would be for my SAAB 2000 Aero w/o Homelink and 2004 Aero with Homelink OEM mirrors.
Has anyone done this? Any suggestions would be appreciated. I'll keep looking at the archives.
Cheers!
