Speedometer stopped working a couple weeks ago, haven't been driving it since then. Also, tripmeter/odometer stopped working and SID fuel functions (DTE, avg fuel economy, avg speed- anything related to the speedometer). I am not getting any dash warning lights like ABS, TCS/ESP, etc.
A few days prior to that I had a state inspection done, but then drove it for couple days with no problems; around here they are supposed to remove 1 wheel and check the rotor/pads, not sure which one was done this time, but there is a possibility the sensor/wire was damaged.
Also, I had been changing settings with the Tech2 the night before the speedometer stopped working. Is it possible I somehow electronically turned off the speedometer? Everything else works in the MIU. Can I "reload" the MIU with Tech2?
Not interested in sending out the ABS controller for repair yet since I am not getting the typical warning lights. Any suggestions for where to start looking?
Thanks
