By far, the hardest part of the job is removing the windshield wiper arms so that you can remove the cover under the hood. The job normally requires the purchase of a battery terminal/wiper arm removal tool. It looks like a minature gear puller. Once the arms are off, remove the two plastic screws by the hinges, pry the cover off the front edge and pull forward, trying to not break off the clips on winshield edge. Then remove the wiper mechanism, and it should be relatively eazy to get at the motor.
