Have Weather Tech rubber mats in our 1999 2.3lpt sedan. Only put them in about 14 months ago. The car is silver w. gray interior and the gray Weather tech mats are a reasonable match. They have not been very smelly. They are not as nice a fit as I would like, but better than the Sears, Walmart, etc. generics. They fit a little better than the oem carpet mats, which had foam backing that was wearing out. They catch most of the snow melt, but I wish that they fit from the very edges of the center tunnel to the door sill.
In a 'rubber' mat I just haven't seen anything better - and I'm looking, 'cause I just bought a 2005 9-5 Arc sedan. It's got factory mats in good shape, but I like the ability to hold a small lake of snow melt
