Oil Leak found & fixed (I think . . )

I have had an oil leak for a while on our '99 SE 2.3lpt - in a region that could be either TC cover or head gasket. It's really hard to see up in that area with the serp belt and engine mount in place, and the car is never here for long (driven by my daughters). So after reading multiples posts on leaks here, I came to a decision that if it was a leak at TC cover, I should at least be sure the PCV was working well. The car has had PCV6 since I first owned it (126K miles), but it's got about 211K now.
I ordered in a complete PCV6 kit from eEuro and I installed it today (about 15 degr F - but it will be colder the next few days). I found that all old parts were indeed PCV6 properly installed, but some of them were shwoing real distress, and the large tube from valve cover to trap was cracked and leaking right at the nipple to the valve cover - I think I found my leak!
Moral: PCV6 still needs inspection & maintaining. I am not certain what original parts might have been re-used when my car was converted to PCV6, but I would guess that mayber the cracked hose was one of them. I'd encourage others with leak in the upper TC cover area to carefully check their PCV6 hoses.
