While rare, your observations are consistent with a crack in the connections inside the battery. Most often one can see proper voltage with a meter but inability to crank or support loads seen when turning on the ignition switch. As far as problems to be fixed, if its the battery that is least cost to deal with.

A crack in a battery might have low temperatures as a factor.

There can be corrosion inside the terminals where the cables go in, reported a few times here. Problems with the connections at the starter will only affect cranking.

Can you observe the electrolyte level? If low, add distilled water. However, battery can then be damaged. Also do not be near a low battery if you apply a load to the battery as the battery can explode.

If the battery is old, you might replace it now in any case as a maintenance issue.

When power gets messed up, the logic state of different computer systems can be messed up. We have seen a few cases where problems were fixed by disconnecting the batter then reconnecting for a clean boot. These issues typically are seen, but again are rare, when the battery voltage has become low. So many odd things can occur that can distract from the real issues.

If you connect to another vehicle with jumper cables and problems are gone, that is a battery issue, but keep prior paragraph in mind.
