Wife’s car, 2003 9-5 lpt, 130k miles
I need a new head gasket and water pump.
I haven't tore it apart yet so don't know what distance the chain tensioner is at.
Planning on installing an extra TD04 I have since the turbo will be off.
Also planning on dropping the oil pan and cleaning the pickup screen.
There seems to be a lot of chain noise even after its warmed up.
Wonder if I should replace the timing chain and maybe remove the balance chain?
I'm almost temped to pull the engine and replace the chain guides.
Thanks
