Installation of Samsung handsfree phone kit

I installed a handsfree phone kit for a Samsung A400 in my 9-5 yesterday. I used the Samsung manufactued kit ($98 incl. tax and shipping from their website if you answer a simple survey, about $200 elsewhere).
Ther has been some discussion on the board about which kits will work and, I am happy to report that the Samsung is fully compatible with the SAAB systems. Using the SAAB phone connector I was able to easily and fully integrate the kit with the SAAB systems. The phone knows when it is in the car and the car knows when the phone is there. I use the pre-installed microphone, and output is throught the audio system. I had to do very little messing around. The connections from the Samsung control box matched the SAAB requirements exactly. The phone answers automatically, by muting the radio or CD during the call. If the audio system is off when a call comes in it turns on and the SID displays TELEPHONE, and then off again when the caller hangs up.
I am glad I used the Samsung OEM kit, because it allows the phone to recognize that it is in a hands free environment, and has a built in calibration system to optimize performance - even the voice dial mode gets recalibrated for the car enviroment. Also the kit has a nice set of cables (with fuses, very important!) and a cradle that result in a tidy setup. The phone turns off if I leave it in the car with the ignition off. The A400 is one of those folding phones and it will work fine in the car for incoming calls even when folded.
