10-30 or 10-40 weights would worry me if you lived where I do (MN) or further North. While no one except the folks that design and test the oil blends is likely to know for certain, I suspect that the high-temp viscosity (-30 or -40) of your mix won't matter too much. But the low temp viscosity is high for winter in our area - especially this winter. The oil needs to flow at -20F or lower, so I use a 0-40 or a 5-40 Mobil 1. If you are driving in Southern states a 10-XX weight may not be an issue.
