1999 9-5 2.3lpt with 220k miles. looks like the o-ring (#9146606 which might now be #30551914) on the pipe piece from the pump to the block are leaking again. probably brought on by cold weather. slow leak but annoying. I have replaced these twice now after a full water pump:
(1) 103k in 2007: water pump replaced by Indie so not sure if large o-rings to block were replaced
(2) 145k in 2010 started leaking so I replaced the block pipe o-rings myself
(3) 177k in 2011 leaking again so I replaced same o-rings myself
Both times I replaced them I just used o-rings from Euro so I think e-ring brand maybe.
So my need of advice is two things:
(A) Anyone know the best brand or place to get these o-rings since the ones I have been buying seem to only last a couple years on average?
(B) Since my pump was done over 100k ago and 7 years ago should Ijust go ahead and replace the pump as well since I'll be digging it all out all day just for $3 in o-rings again?
