I have to say, I generally like the dash of the 06+ 9-5... when it came out, I mostly preferred it to the old one. I'm still getting used to our 2004 dash, as I find the buttons are pretty small to hit without looking down from the road (and with gloves - it's still -20 here!). The ACC and radio is also lower than in the c900's. Those cars were amazingly laid out, and it was easy to make the car comfortable. The 9-5 ACC may let passenger and driver coexist at different temperatures, but for me it means constantly fussing with fan speeds, up/down temp settings, etc (and even so I'm always either too hot or cold)... 2 knobs and about 4 *big* switches is all that is needed. Same for the radio... but at least radio controls are on the steering wheel.
I still can't wrap my head around the Dame Edna exterior aesthetics 06+. I wish they had gone more of the route of the 08+ 9-3... but it is still a wonderful car, and Johnson's example looks pristine. Great find!
