Check all three ends, assuming the car is an automatic, for leaks. Check the length of the pipe for cracks. Verify the check valves are holding using a Mity Vac or similar.
A new line is $39 if you find hers broken. You can also use a short length of heavy duty hose with two clamps to repair a short cracked section until the new part arrives.
