I disagree about Michelins

My personal experience with Michelins are that they provide good treadlife but have awful traction , especially in the wet-and cost way too much to replace (not that I'd ever buy them again). Was driving home from my FL vacation last week during a typical afternoon rainstorm and my '01 9-5 LPT wagon was slip sliding away on the highway. Water was not deep, mind you. The all season Michelins are only good in the dry. The Michelin MXMs I had as OEM tires on my '94 900SET were awful in the rain, too. I didn't realize how bad until I got Pirelli P7000s, which were amazing in the rain. But their treadlife is the worst. I've got Bridgestone Pole Position S-02s on now and they're by far the best tires I have ever used. Driving in the rain now is almost like driving on dry pavement. Treadlife is better than the Pirellis, too.
When these MXV4s are worn, I'm gonna get S-03s. :-)
