Any reports or updates on the PPS fuel pump assembly units ? I know the Bosch insert has worked in the past , but after nearly cracking the plastic pickup tube last time , I don't see the economy/thrift of just replacing the pump . Besides after buying the seal ring and O-ring and submersible fuel line and some clamps , the $129 unit seems a good option ..Or is It ???

After many problems with Scantech , URO , parts etc. , I haven't had much dealing with the Pro Parts Sweden . Most fuel pumps I have seen through the years are made in USA , or France , or Brazil ,so I don't really care what part of the planet they come from , I just want it to work .

The Good Old Boys @ NAPA want something like $487 . The Autozone has one for something like $387 , with a lifetime warranty . I had to ask the salesman : " Whose Life ? The car ? The Pump ? or the Driver ? " ..still seems like a lot of loot for a $54 pump ! Oh Well !
