I got some from eBay for my wife's 2003 Aero. They were like 10mm too long. I shut the hood and could not reopen it because the long strut pushed the hood forward and jammed the latches.
I finally figured out using a long screwdriver to knock the forward mount off the ball and got the hood open. I then installed the right length.
Cheaper ones are fine. Just compare them to the ones on the car and make sure they are the right length.
