I have had to use a puller to get the rotor off, probably because of the extensive use of salt in PA. The hub was pretty rusted. I've also had to drill out a reluctant set screw. Don't forget to inspect and adjust the hand brake, which is part of this job. I use a large Allen wrench to get around the interference from the springs when removing the caliper. You can use a properly sized deep socket with an extension to get more leverage on the Allen wrench. Just make sure the wrench stays properly seated in the pin.
