That does not sound like fun. I wonder if that code was suppressed by the other two and only awakened by repairing and erasing those.
What's the repair story of the car? Have it been somewhere else and maybe they updated the ECM hoping to fix something.
This is such an odd problem that I doubt many of us have ever seen it or solved it.
I assume there has not been a ABS module rebuilder involved in any of the two modules. If so, anything could be wrong and you should try to find another good used module that has been untouched.
There are no rebuilders out there yet that can handle the 02 and up ABS module with ESP.
There doesn't seem to be a choice of transmission or engine alternatives in these modules as the old ones and it also seems that you can swap the Bosch ...514 to ...701 and vice verse.
I programmed an 05 ESP module yesterday for a customer who changed it out himself and the only programming it asked for was what type of rear brakes it had and the steering angle calibration. C0551 was the only code present in that module before programming. 05 though is a one year only module.
It was fun seeing you too. Lots of Saab talk in a few short hours.
