V6 too weak to be tuned?!? May I ask where did you get this information from?!?
There are only TWO reasons why the V6 doesn't have more power upgrades:
1. There is so many more 4 cyl. sold and the V6 is usually purchased by people that wouldn't chip it or upgrade it in any way even if they could. So there is simply no market for performance upgrades for the V6, especially considering costs involed - see point #2.
2. Turbo engines are usually very easy to upgrade. Take the VW/Audi 1.8t, the lpt, etc. Looking at it in a simplistic way, the chip just increases the boost and off you go. The Saab V6 on the other hand has a very unusual turbo. It was added to the V6 for low-end punch, it is small, and asymetrical. So obviously it is harder to tune it, and there is less possibilities with the stock turbo on the V6 due to its size and function.
But this has NOTHING to do with the engine being weak.
