I thought I'd pass along my recent experience on receipt of a new DIC. Members of this group pointed me to Rock Auto as a source of a high quality DIC for my 2004 9-5 Arc. I made the purchase and am very pleased with the product. Specifically, the box was marked as being supplied by Airtex Engine Management. Opening the box and inspecting the part revealed that it was manufactured by SEM, with 'SAAB' stamped on the metal case and printed on the sticker, as well as 55559955 and TK3.7 It appears to be an actual SAAB product and the cost was $149 + ~ $10 s/h.

First impressions are that it is the 'real deal' and the price is quite reasonable when compared to dealer prices, for, as I understand it, the same mfg/product.

I have yet to install it so no usage experience with it. Other people here have reported good results.

If you find yourself in need of a DIC, I'd strongly recommend checking out this source.
