Yet another fail scenario where the car started and run but albeit a little bit longer cranking like the fuel pump check valve would not hold rest pressure.
Drove it to the bank and there I got stranded and had to take a tow truck back.
Engine tried to start like a failed fuel pump not giving enough pressure.
After the tow truck dropped it off, it started and ran (just like a fuel pump would do).
Had it idling here with a fuel pressure gauge hooked up and then suddenly it died but tried to start again with back fire and sputtering as a result.
Put a new IDM on it and it started up fine, swapped in the Proparts again and it did not start.
Just another day.
