interesting. i was just about to post querying about expected gas mileage of a V6 vs the I4.
we have a 2003 9-5 Linear with the 2.3, and if we make a run down the NYS thruway from Albany to NJ and back, it can get upwards of 31 mpg.
By comparison, the 2000 9-5 SE wagon with the V6 gets about 24mpg on the way from Albany to NJ, and creeps up to about 27 or 28 on the trip back to Albany. we drive both cars the same way on the trip, stick it in cruise at 70mph. I was wondering if this is expected or if there was something in the V6 we needed to look out for.
