Reliability aside I've not been all that impressed by the 3 Saabs I've owned with auto climate control - things like the temp getting way too hot or going to defrost mode when not needed and so on, maybe it's because I'm in CO where on you get more intense solar as on cloudy days the systems seemed to work better. I recall seeing some posts when they set the temp at 72 and it works well, but I can't say that has been my experience. Not looking forward to wedging myself underneath the dash, I'm sure my back will tell me I'm told old for that sort of thing.
Best ACC system I had was in a 1991 Taurus SHO, it did work as expected.
