On a 2006 through 2009 you'll need to drop the tank =(.
I have done one of the 2006's I maintain, and I plan on preventive replacement of the other one this summer / fall. You not only need to drop the tank, but you need the special tool (OTC sells one) to use to remove the sealing ring using a large breaker bar (this is very different from 2005 and earlier). I think that Euro spec cars did not get this "upgrade".
Hope this helps.
