I would go with the $45 option; unless you can find an AC-Delco valve for a Cadillac Catera for less. But that is just me. Interesting comments on Rock Auto. They list two Delco valves and one Dorman discount brand valve. The Dorman says it was re-engineered to eliminate the earlier problems of the valve body cracking and leaking. Obviously one of the Delcos is a replacement for the other but it is not clear which.
There are Silicone Hose options to eliminate the By-Pass valve. Check UK sources as I am not aware of any sellers here in the States.
