I personally like the older cars. We had a great 1999 9-5 stick wagon in dark green.....great car.
I have a 2000 Aero wagon 5 speed stick with 300HP....AWESOME.
My wife has a pristine 2001 Aero wagon automatic.....great car. only 110,000 miles and perfect in every way.
I like the styling of the front grille and lights up to 2001.
Granted you need a nice rust free example that has been well cared for.
I feel the features and stying went down hill over the years. Decontenting by GM and styling changes that ruined the cars
