though it is hard to tell the going rate... these cars are older now with higher miles and frequently have a bunch of undisclosed or unrecognized problems beyond the obvious (rust, smoke, dents, repaints) and moderately obvious to saab people (ride height, pcv status, other missing or wrong bits, etc).
I recently saw a 2004 aero in a rare (though arguably not desirable) colour, glacier blue, listed at $3600. Sold in about a week. We considered looking at it, but with a 4 hour drive, and rust on the tail gate, we basically didn't bother.
I do think the TSN classifieds are a great way to sell a car as there are many more good saabs with knowledgeable owners... though for us in Canada, there really are few cars listed in the tsn classifieds from up here, and it is a lot of effort to bring one across the border. SAABs do seem to still be a good value (eg vs Volvos or other comparable cars the same age).
