I have a Thule Sidearm, which I think is the 594XT. There is a comparable model from Yakima, I don't remember why I chose the Thule over Yak, I think I was watching youtube video comparisons and liked the action of the arm better.
There's no wheel removal so bike loading/unloading only takes about 30 seconds and it will work with road or mountain bikes. I wanted something that didn't require wheel removal because my road bike has carbon dropouts and my mtb has a thru-axle. Also, not a fan of bike racks that clamp the downtube.
I don't know offhand what wheel size limitations there are. Bike rack mounts to the bars in about 5 minutes, I have not tried leaving the bike rack attached to the bars when removing the factory load bars- seems like it might be a little unwieldy.
