Some of the guys here (not me) use suction to draw the 3309 out of the transmission, through that dipstick tube. You might explore exactly how they do this - I'm thinking you can extract some fluid and get the dipstick tube as your special prize!
So, those Linear wagons for '04 and '05 must use some leftover parts in association with the light pressure turbo motor they use? I ask because I have two of the '04s with the H.O.T. motor plus the Aisin, and they don't use a dipstick with a separate tip at all. And when you get the piece out of there, switch to the Aero style dipstick if that's possible.
Just like those '06 9-5s with the "blank" plastic cover over the fusebox on the side of the dash structure. Get one for an '04 with information on it, even if a couple fuses could be different. Some info is better than none.
