Faulty driver's side door latch? Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Fri, 7 Sep 2018 15:13:11 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I have had an issue with the driver's side door latch whereby the interior lever does not always release the latch. Interesting enough, depressing and raising the interior door mounted lock button one or two times will often result in the interior latch releasing at the appropriate point of travel for the lever.
For a long time I though the problem may be a stretched release cable from the lever to the latch, but that does not match with the lock button discovery. Now I am thinking something may be amis in the latch itself.
Has anyone replace one of these? Any gotcha's to be concerned with?
