Terrible Service from Saab Catalog (long)

Okay, maybe this is just a rant, but I'll justify it as a warning to anyone who might be thinking of ordering from the Saab catalog over the internet.
Ordered the leather conditioner on July 10th.
Received an email on July 11 stating item is in stock and will ship within 5 days.
Sent e-mail early morning July 22 requesting info. No response.
Called evening of July 22 and spoke to customer service who took down my name, order number and phone number and she gaurantees to look into it and call back within 24 hours.
Get credit card bill on July 23 - showing charges from Saab catalog.
Call today, July 24. At first I'm told my order does not exist. Then I am told that they have no record of my credit card. And they have no record of any emails or phone calls from me either. Finally, about 15 minutes of insisting that my order must exist (proof - order number, credit card bill, they have my address and phone # in their computer system), she finally finds it and tells me it shipped out on July 12. Gives me a FedEx tracking number.
So I check with FedEx and they tell me that it was shipped to the wrong address and therefore undeliverable and eventually (yesterday, actually) shipped back to the shipper.
All this for a $8 bottle of leather conditioner!
I'm so pissed. What shabby customer service.
Anyone else have trouble with Saab catalog or am I just cursed?
