I bought mine from China and shipped DHL in a couple of days. Can't remember the source. Look at eBay there are many clones for sale in the $300+ range. I also bought a GM card and it works really well.
There is another Saab forum that has a TECH II forum. Good information there.
Sometimes it is a bit of a gamble in that some people have had problems and you are dealing with an overseas supplier. I have had no problems and am very satisfied on how it works on 2000, 2001, 2004, and 2004 9-5s.
