Unfortunately, it is well confirmed with vibrations at idle and in Drive on the 9-5.
One way to mitigate it slightly is to use the Tech 2 scanner and raise idle slightly about 50 rpm but it does not take away all of it.
I was disappointed with my own car after replacing subframe bushings and all motor mounts to feel that it was still noticeable.
From 2007 and up 9-5, Saab seems to have used a freewheel clutch on the alternator but I don't think I have heard it was for vibration but more to save gasoline every time the gas pedal is let up and the alternator is not fighting the engine.
Those clutches are not that great of an invention since they get worn out and noisy and can fail. If you see rust stains around the pulley, it is slowly going bad.
