I agree with MI-Roger. You also should be very careful for now driving the car, especially on freeways with no shoulders and making left hand turns in heavy traffic. Your Aero-plane can hesitate, even stall unexpectedly and then you will be out of control...... BTW, unless already done, its wise to have replaced all your vacuum lines heading from the brake booster with real Saab OE lines made in Germany. One of the lines on my 2006 cracked at the small plastic valve and I lost most of my braking capability, made worse by using ceramic pads in a cold climate. If it happens to you, the only thing you can do is downshift if possible and use your emergency brake and a very heavy foot on the pedal. The kit includes a line to the intake manifold and another to where the distributors on old versions of the triumph inspired engines used to be. See professional help by a saab knowledgeable mechanic if you are unsure. There was a recall on the 9-3's a long time ago but it never made it to the 9-5. Many older 9-5s usually, over time need a new or rebuilt TB, oE OR OEM DI, oe temp sensor, BOSCH CPS, heater valve, new vacuum lines, sometime a MAF after about 200,000km plus the ordinary stuff that comes up with any car. I will no longer be installing ceramic pads on my vehicles in the future.
