Follow-up to previous note, our '99 9 5 w/79k does need a new Turbo! $800. plus!! (Keeton) wrote of a known issue of turbo failure.....any more insight???? We bought the car off a leaseback w/77k with all required maint/warranty work done(supposedly?) via the maintainance book and the dealers history records....I figure the previous owner was in sales and spent his days beating the devil out of the car on the highway....but then, that beats stop/go. I just have never had a turbo before, so this event/expense is a new one! My wife and I have had 4 Volvos in the past 10 years and all we've ever had for problems were A/C compressors and the "good old Volvo CHECK ENGINE LIGHT syndrome!!!!" Any secret to long turbo life other than frequent oil changes?????? I want to run Synthetic and change every 5k! And is the dealer correct in telling me that Regular 87 octane is all this car requires??? That's what we've been running for 2k+ miles wih no apparant pinging.....but we drive it very easy! thanks in advance, Bill
