Many threads in the past about H-7 bulbs that burn out especially if you are running the Daytime Running Lights. I have noticed these ads on Ebay for Plasma Xenon H-7 bulbs that give a very nice white light, have a fiberglass base which will not burn out your wiring harness and best of all have a 10 year warrenty against burn out (specific part number for 9-5s so the company knows what they are going into). These have got to be the answer but like everything else that sounds to good to be true are probably just that.
Is there any experience out there on this board for those of you who have been brave enough to give these bulbs manufactured by PlasmaGlow a try? How long have you had them installed in the DRL situation?? If they are crap please admit that you threw your money away.
These cost no more than $20 plus shipping so that is about 1.5 years worth of H-7 bulbs made by Osram for the vehicle. If they last as advertised and povide superior lighting as does the present SAAB lights then these are a good alternative. Normally though in the lighting stores a high life bulb rating is usually based on a lower light output level and so these traits are opposing. Hope to hear your experiences. Thanks.
