2008 2.3T SportCombi, has airbag light on. tech 2 says :"Drivers Seat Belt Sensor circuit, open circuit or short to ground/B+"
I used the tech 2 to read the values and I get:
Seat belt switch driver: BELTED
Seat belt switch Passen: BELTED
Seat Position Driver: FRONT
Seat position Passenger: REAR
Im not sure how to interpret this.
1 - seat belt sensor is in the latch itself right? maybe just swap out the latch?
2 - why does both driver and passenger side say "BELTED"? Does this suggest that both passenger and driver side seat belt switches are bad?
