I've done this on many cars and that lower is always a bit of a pain. Only one car required the angle grinder ...
I Use an open end wrench to hold the shaft, and a box end wrench on the nut. I usually turn it until the open end wrench is wedged against the suspension in some way. With the open end wrench wedged in place I wrangle a pipe over the end of the box and apply as much force as I can. its tricky to get the wrenches and pipe in there and once you find an orientation that works you prob will have about 5 degrees of travel. Once you crack it, you can take the pipe out the mix and get a few more degrees of travel with the box wrench alone.
