Basically an enclosure which is impervious to electomagnetic radiation of your choice. E.g., your microwave oven, especially the mesh on the door window which must be smaller than a portion of the wavelength of the microwaves. Secure areas in top secret areas must have this quality to prevent "leaks" of electronic noise to prevent easedropping via machine electronic radiation; in the old days, this included the electronic noise from typewriters and teletype machines. Nowadays, it would be noise from computers, cables, printers, etc.
The Saab would not be perfect as the windows do allow some transmission of radio wave energy, but perhaps not as much as standard auto glass or other forms of darkening. The metal areas of the car, of course, is perfect.
So, who out there has a diagram of the antenna wiring in a Saab? Who has information on why EZ Pass says our windows inhibit the operation of their transponders?
